Tuesday to Today

Tuesday was another great workout at the gym. Got an hour of cardio in and felt great!!! Wednesday we took the day off, but I wish we had not, because now we are iced in. It has been sleeting all day. The bridges are iced over and we can't get to the gym. I think I may try a workout video. I am frustrated though because I was planning to do Day 2 of c25k. :/ It stinks when u have the motivation and are excited about something then bam you can't do those things. Ughh!
On a different note... I made some yummy soup last night. I made my hubby Taco soup, but since I don't eat ground beef I made myself some chicken taco soup. I wish I would have taken a picture, b/c it was pretty. lol... As pretty as food can be. Very colorful! I took some left over rotisserie chicken and chopped it up, then I added diced onion, pinto beans, corn, diced tomatoes with green chilies, diced carrots, water, a packet of spicy ranch seasoning, and lastly a packet of hot & spicy taco seasoning. Let it simmer for a few hours and it was delicious!!! =) I have no clue on the points of this but it couldn't be too bad right?!

    The soup sounds wonderful!! Warm soup on a cold day is just perfect!
