Wednesday, Thankfulness....

It has been a very rough last few days. Not on the diet front, but just with some family illness we are going through. We are just trusting the Lord to take complete control and handle it. It is so hard, going through this but his plan is better then ours!!!
Wednesday was pretty much like any other day in my life, busy busy busy!
I got up did the usual routine of getting ready and sat down to eat my breakfast and read my devotional. I had 1 cup of whole grain cheerios for 2 points. No fruit. I'm out. =( Gotta go to the store tonight.
I got to work having an emotional morning, and as soon as I got there one of my students gave me a picture she had drawn for me the night before. Oh how it brightened my day! Love my sweet babies at school. Before I knew it it was lunch time. I warmed up a lean cuisine for 6 points. I took the pic as I was packing my lunch, so I wouldn't have to take them at work. My plan was to have a lean cuisine, grapes and carrots. I ate my lean cuisine, and a few carrots, but couldn't finish them. I was stuffed and I didn't touch the grapes.
Then back to work I went and before I knew it it was was 3:00 and I was ready for a snack. So I finished off the carrots and had 1/2 cup of grapes for... I'm going to round it up to 2 points to be safe.
After work I headed to the tanning bed for a much needed power nap. I then ran home and got ready for church. Headed to pick up my niece from school, because her momma was working late. Came back home for a few. Then headed to church. My tummy started growling in church, lol. I had not even thought about dinner. Isn't that crazy? I never do that. I love to eat, obviously. By the time we leave church it was 8:00 so Hubby drove us through the chickfila drive through. Yummmy but oh so high in points. Now I could have had something healthy but I broke down and got the spicy chicken combo for a total 18 points eeek. No pic, Fail! But I did only go 2 points over my daily allowance. Gotta look at the positive right? lol. I did step on the scale this morning and it is going down, so I am excited. So ready for weigh in this week. It's gonna rock!!

Thankfulness:
Today, I am thankful for such Godly parents that raised us in a christian home. That pray with us and always have something encouraging to say. I love you Momma and Daddy!!!
