The last 3 days...

have been spent here...

Right next to my hubby in the hospital. I will start from the beginning. Last Wednesday we found out my husband has cancer. We spent the next few days, working, having test run, clenaing house and getting ready for the big day. Monday he had surgery to remove it. The surgery ,the Doctor said, went well... the recovery not so much. What was supposed to be an out patient surgery, turned into a hospital stay. I am very thankful they kept him though. They helped him in ways I wouldn't have been able to at home. Now we are playing the waiting game. We will find out next week more results and where we go from here, chemo, more surgery, etc... So thankful the Lord has brought him this far and ready to see what else he has in store for us.

On the diet front well needless to say I have been living off hospital food. We have a great cafeteria at our hospital. Actually it's really good food, but nowhere near healthy. lol I haven't peeked at the scale since we have been home. Not going to until Friday for weigh in. I'm just hoping I didn't do to bad. I am back on plan today. Taking my pics, and counting points. Hoping for a great on point day.

Today's Thankfulness:

That Kevin's surgery went well. That God kept him safe and gave us a great doctor who we love. It was funny my brother in law told us we need to start hanging out with him. lol. He is young and took lots of time with us. Wasn't in a rush like most doctors. He is great, so along with all my thankfulness of Kevin's surgery going well, I am extremely thankful God gave us an AWESOME doctor!
